Well, Mother Nature decided to make up for lost time. We are at 19 inches and still counting. Day 2 of blowing snow, and the storm has not officially "hit" us yet.

Summer and I visited KY while Bill was hunting this year. We took Summer and her cousins, Sam and Josh, to Dixon Springs State Park. We all enjoyed the huge trees and climbing on the rocks. Not to mention the Smores!

Summer is a big Colorado sports fan, she enjoyed the Rockies sweep of the Dbacks and loves to watch the Broncos.
The pumpkin patch was fun, however, Summer wanted all of the pumpkins she could get her hands on.

Dave and Christi were up for a visit. She digs her "uncle dave" and loved the "my little pony" he brought her.

Ashley adventures in the high country

Abasin ski area opened on October 9th, with one run down from mid mountain. This is the earliest they have opened in their 61 year history. I skied with my pal Kendal and her husband. Temps got into the 60's. Ya gotta love it! On October 13, we took Summer to a Fire Prevention event, where she became an official firefighter and met Smokey.
